ole miss vs msu gpas
by: GPAI am an Ole Miss PNM and my sister goes to MSU. She told me that MSU sorority GPAs are alot higher than Ole Miss, why is that? Are the courses harder here? Or is it because most engineering and sciences majors go to MSU? I didn't believe her until I looked it up this morning...Four, which is half of the MSU sororitys have a higher GPA than the highest sorority GPA at Ole Miss.

different schools offer different courses taught by different professors. it's like comparing apples and oranges. don't get so wrapped up in things that are totally irrelevant to your own greek experience. Why is your older sister trying to talk badly about sororities at Ole Miss? She seems really judgmental...

She wasn't bad mouthing them at all. She is an active getting ready for recruitment and I am a PNM getting ready for rush at Ole Miss. Simple table conversation at our home when I asked her what houses look for right off the bat. She is the first one to say, girls should keep an open mind and all houses are great - that was her advice to me :-)
I didn't think there would be that big of a difference in GPAs though. Maybe it's because Ole Miss has so many more girls go through.
