why only top and bottom

Why is it always about "top" and "bottom" tier? Why do I never see much about phi mu, pi phi, aopi (post below being the exception)?

Well I would guess phi Mu is keeping a low profile because of having to take a spring pledge class, which is not usually done by them. I have no idea about pi phi or aopi.

Probably because people are always wanting to tear down the "top" houses and fight over which "bottom" tier house is the best/worst so they start crap to make their house look better. The "middle" tier houses are pretty neutral
