tiers (for pnms)
by: For PNMsListen up, y'all. Tiers do not exist after rush. Yes, there are houses that have girls that are able to walk with their heads held high saying that they are a part of the "best of the best" houses, and that's great for them. There are also houses that get talked about endlessly because they are considered "lower tier" houses, and that sucks for them. But after rush, other than the people who are still behaving like high schoolers, 99% of Greeks at this school truly do not care. You cannot judge everyone in a sorority based on the house's reputation (however, in the spirit of honesty, there usually is a fairly direct correlation between the houses' reputations and the girls that they in turn get), but with the new quota system (sorry if you're tired of hearing that), things really are evening out. Girls in top houses might date guys in "lower tier" fraternities, and the "lower tier" sorority girls might date boys from Jackson, Mississippi. Point is, after rush, you will have found your home (or, I hope you will). You will end up where is best for you, and you should have pride in that! After rush, it is not like you're going to be walking around the square with your friend and you see someone in a "better" house and bow at their feet, and if you're in a "top house" you're not just going to completely ignore someone in one lower than you (and if you do, that is a huge semblance of your character). Go into recruitment with an open mind, and find your home and your people.
