sophomore rush
by: LalaI'm a sophomore transfer from a community college. I was very active at my community college as a cheerleader. I was also a campus beauty and on homecoming court. What are my chances of receiving a bid in a sorority at Ole Miss. I have several letters of recommendation to all the houses.

If you have lots of very strong connections to girls in sororities at Ole Miss, then you should be fine. But, especially not rushing as a freshman, it is key to have already established friendships with lots of girls who will fight for you during rush. I think if you keep your options open you will most likely receive a bid (if you have okay grades and recs and social skills); but you have to keep an open mind and be happy wherever you end up!!

I'm a KD at ole miss and I think you should give it a shot. A lot of sophomores rush and get into great houses (: rush at ole miss is quite hard because a lot of the girls are legacies and house normally already know who they want before rush. Keep rushing year after year even if you're dropped from all house your first time.
