sorority houses
by: PNMWhich houses are the nicest and which ones need the most work or need renovation?

Tori delt , DG and A Phi will most likely be favorites next year for nicest house. ΑDPi has a very nice house, but some people think it's ostentatious (really just a matter of personal tastes). Phi Mu ΚD and ΚΚG are nice as well. AOPi is nice, but asymmetrical of the outside which is just a little weird. Theta has a very cute outside, but they could use an update because of chapter growth (I think it's the smallest house) Chi O seems like it needs an update at least from the outside. This is all subjective, of course.

-Alpha Phi's brand new house will be done before school starts this year.
-DG's renovation will be done before school starts this year.
-Tri Delta started a renovation spring break and it will be done before school starts next year, but a lot of it will be done by the beginning of this school year.
-ADPi's brand new house was finished before the start of school in 2015.
I think Pi Phi was the most recent to renovate before all these but I could be wrong.
All the other houses need some sort of update, whether it's an addition for more space, new furniture, new paint, touch up on the outside, etc. and it will come eventually just like DG and DDD decided to do it now.
Chi O, Kappa, Pi Phi, and KD seem to have the nicest houses inside and out besides the ones currently/recently being built/renovated. AOPi, Theta (and probably Phi Mu too) really need to renovate, but the houses are still beautiful and extravagant.
If you join a sorority, take advantage of the house - study there, eat lots of meals there, go to all the events your sorority holds. If you don't hang out at your sorority house you won't meet as many members and you won't get as much out of your sorority membership. The houses are nice and fun to hang out at with friends. You can even go eat and study with your friends at their houses or have them come to yours.

To reply to whoever said y'all will pay 650-700 a month in dues, that's not true. I know of like two sororities currently going through renovations that have spiked dues because of that, but a lot are pretty reasonably priced around 1700-2000 a semester (so like 375-450 a month).

You are RUDE and no I have not even been to orientation yet. I don't want to join one that is going to be begging my parents for money.
