Honestly, only Delta Gamma self ranks harder than Alpha Phi, a close third would be Phi Mu. Most of the others seem more secure and don't live on this site.

Are you serious? If you go on their GR page they have an equal mix of good, not so good, and average reviews. If they self ranked as hard as you say they do, they'd have a ton of 5 star reviews to combat the bad ones, which they don't. I don't see the "this is the best house at om, only take the best, everyone wants to be them etc. etc." that is on many om gr pages. And if you're on this site, you must be insecure in your own sorority too based on your observation.

It is typical of new chapters like APhi or smaller chapters like Theta and ADPi to self rank because they want to build their reputation. As you can see with the finger pointing, it is an unfortunate competitive sorority environment.

The only sorority that doesn't really self-rank is Theta. From the girls that I've talked to, they know that everyone thinks they're weird for some reason and always rank them at the bottom, but they don't really care bc they say that's where they belong. Honestly, ranks are such bs so don't pay much attention to these.

You are probably right. Honestly, Theta seems to have one of the strongest sisterhoods, and in spite of being considered a lower tier they seem happy (which is more than most of the Ole Miss Sororities can say). And if you are happy with your Sisterhood you sure don't have to be on here bashing everyone else.
