How important is it that your rec letter come from an ole miss almnnae ??

Recs from Ole Miss alums carry more weight, but better to have recs from anywhere than not. And I'd work to find OM alums who can write recs for you.

In some cases recs from alumni are better but they're not necessary. A shining rec from someone you know and trust would still be better than a vague, generalized one from an Ole Miss alum that has only read your resume and e-mailed you a few times.
