sorority cattiness

You know that isn't real right? On campus I have friends in every house, and there is incredible panhellenic spirit. At the charity bowl, all the houses were cheering for eachother and there was such love!. Greek Rank is a poisonous site, and there is sometimes a thread of truth to things here, but not often and I would not befriends with the girls who acted like this in real life.

But the thing is, some of it is real. There's way to much "insider" knowledge around this place for it to be all trolls. Or crazy moms.

I'm not sure it's any better that the girls will cheer for you one day but turn around and smear you anonymously on here 5 minutes later.

This is absolutely a poisonous site, but there are also plenty of Ole Miss students who are a part of it.

It is sad to see all the crazy stuff posted on this site, but you are seeing the worst of the worst here. Every Sorority has good things about it and also some negatives. Every Sorority has a few mean girls, but mostly they are made of beautiful and talented women looking for a Sisterhood. A lot of the stuff you see on this site are from people who aren't even students at Ole Miss, some are slightly off balanced Moms (which is just weird) and some are people posting from other schools. Just in the past month there have posts from people who admitted being from Vanderbilt, Auburn, University of Alabama and Mississippi State. So there no telling how many of these toxic posts come from people who aren't even on the Ole Miss campus.

I read this website before rush and it was so catty that I didn't think I wanted one go through rush but when you get here it's so different. While there are a few houses that are just plain snobby or stuck up most of them arent. I have friends in almost every sorority and have met the most genuine sweet girls who are in different sororities. Everyone knows that pnm's really have no control over rush so what house your in doesn't really matter to most girls, especially the kind of girls you want to be friends with.
