rush packet

So I have seen folders/packets for sale on Etsy that are super cute and color coordinated with monograms that contain all the necessary things for rush (Recs, resume, pics, etc).... Are these common or way unnecessary?

Save your money. This is just someone trying to make a buck. We care more what's in your resume and how you present yourself, meaning how you look and behave, than a super cute color coordinated monogram. Shop for cute clothes that make you look your best and not wilt in the heat, cute comfy shoes, and accessories for polish. Pay attention to your hair and makeup and nails and all the little details on YOU.

Please don't waste your money. If you have tons to waste, please share with kids who can't even afford college or an education.

@Not is 100% correct. We care so much more about what's in a person and not how a silly folder is presented, plus the rec writer sees that and not usually the actually sorority.

I did a DIY packet that was advised by a friend's mom who was older and I don't think it made a difference tbh
