rushing not as a freshman

Is it hard to get into a house if you aren't a freshman? I'm in junior college and considering transferring and rushing my sophomore year. Would it be better to get my juco degree then rush as a junior? Will houses take a freshman over me always?

The quick answer is yes, it's harder to get s bid as a sophomore. And do not put recruitment off until your junior year, it's almost impossible to get a bid. Freshman are p

Oops didn't finish my post.

Freshman are preferred as they have 4 years to put into the house.

That said, go for it as a sophomore. Make sure you get to know as many girls as you can, get recs for each house. Some houses will likely be open to sophomores if they really like you so I encourage you to do it. And be aware how brutal recruitment can be for anyone, including the best connected freshman.

I rushed as a Sophomore and found myself cut from like the top 4 houses immediately, but I didnt have many connections in those so I would suggest you work on that and it should help. I still ended up in a really great house and had an amazing experience.
