possible fall rush phi delt legacy

so I'm thinking of attending in the fall and I'm a phi delt legacy. my dad was a phi delt in ca. I know that doesn't mean everything but I'm wondering if I'll be given a real look by the local chapter during rush or not. will the fact I'm from the west hinder me? I'm really looking for input because I haven't decided to attend yet and I'm trying to get all the info I can.

I know some great out of state guys in great houses

The real question to ask is this: which houses take OOS and even more importantly, out of region guys. The houses with mostly Mississippi guys (including Memphis area, etc.) are harder to break into, although there can always be exceptions.

Click into the section on frats that's on here for OM to read ratings and comments - of course, read past the ones that clearly are members self-rating. Some posts mention members being Miss. and Deep South guys.

Have you visited the campus and met guys in the house to get a sense of them and the campus in genera? Is being in a frat super important to you?
