I would agree with the above post, DG is definitely a good house at Ole Miss, and it is mostly super involved girls who were the cheerleader and student council types in high school. I do know some laid back ones too, but I guess if you were to generalize- this is on point.

DG is very good and they have a bunch of pretty girls. I don't think they are the party types but if you want to get in a sorority that will push you and find out what you can be in this world I would highly recommend them. If you want to party and be a drunk for 4 years there are several that can fit that need. But on the latter , certainly not DG.

I am wondering if it is actually possible for DG to say nice things about themselves without saying negative things about others. Their mommies did not do a very good job of teaching "If you can't say something nice, than don't say anything at all". Just for the record DG has party types in their sorority just like every sorority has party types, each sorority has studious types, athletic types, cheerleaders types, student government types,competitive types, quiet types, etc.

I can't imagine anyone being jealous of DG (even though DG is convinced that everyone is).

haha yes they are a great house on campus most guys you ask would say they are all around quality girls its definitley a house youd be proud to say youre a part of and most people that have something bad to say about the DG are either insecure about their own house or maybe had a bad experience with a certain girl or even rush and got dropped, so yes they are good

Haha no no when did I ever say it HAS to be because you got dropped or that its "the best house" there is no "best house" but yeah dg IS a good one, and yeah also the majority of reasons any girl puts down ANY house not only dg is because they feel that insecure about their own so to make them feel better they put others down....cheer up buttercup!!

Ignore the negative posts they are all pea green with envy...
In the living areas, we will have water fountains with bottle fillers on each floor, an exercise room-outfitted with TVs, very nice laundry rooms on each resident floor, study/TV rooms on each floor, special conference-room-style study rooms and many spacious bedrooms with really large closets and an elevator. Our dining areas, where all members dine, will be larger and will have a very extensive chilled salad bar along with a coffee bar with numerous coffee flavors, a soft-service yogurt bar with all the toppings and a night and weekend, self-service kitchen.

Is your house's amenities really what you consider the best part of DG? I feel bad for you girl. No ones jealous of a sorority where the best part of it is literally just the house

I can actually get all those amenities at any of the numerous apartment complexes all over Oxford (and a swimming pool), but it's not the amenities that make a sorority. Most of us enjoy our Sisterhoods because of the friendships.

KD's are pea green with envy over the DG house and the KD house looks awful and outdated.
