Say there are 1800 girls going through rush and you have to cut 1000 of them after the first round.
Besides legacies who a lot of houses have to invite to a second round ... the easiest cut is grades and no rec letters or bad reputation.

So have the grades and recs and clean social media and round two you should have a full roster of eight houses so they can really get to know you. Make a great impression that round so you can have a full roster of five houses for round three and two solid choices for pref because you personality has gotten to shine for those rounds
No one cares how nice and cute you are when they have to cut 1000 girls after Greek day

The safest thing to do is make sure you have above a 3.0...for kappa its above a 3.2...There are a few sororities who will take above a 2.8 but I dont remember which those were.

The first round is all about cutting where you can...dont give anyone a reason to cut you

Your GPA plays a huge factor in cuts. I learned that the hard way. Having above a 3.0 is your safety net but the higher the better. Like "Really" mentioned above, each sorority has to cut so many girls after the first round. If you have less than a 3.0, you're an easy cut. And another example of why its so important, if the sorority is looking at you and another girl and you're both equally awesome, they might cut the girl with the lower GPA. Basically, keep ya GPA up!!
