getting cut for gpa (sororities)

What are the houses like on cutting for GPA?
example: a solid 3.0 gpa with strong connections VS like a 3.7 with no connections?
Does it really just depend?

I know some houses cut grades first this semester simply because there were SO many girls and you have so slim it down some how. But strong connections definitely help, if you don't have any now then thats okay because you can make them when you get to school! I am in a sorority currently and if I met a girl I really liked before rush I would for sure pull for her if she needed me to! don't be afraid to go out of your way to connect with active because a lot of them know how scary rush is and would be more than happy to help you!

Connections are the most important. If a house really wants you then the gpa won't be a problem. To maximize your options get your gpa over 3.3.
