theta or alpha phi

During rush I fell in love with alpha phi, honestly. On pref night they said they hope I run home to them. Well even though I preffed them I did not get APhi I got Theta. Well an Alpha Phi said that they would COB next fall because they really did like me a lot. I have found my group of girls in theta but then again I haven't. Should I give Alpha Phi a chance?

Personally, I would not listen to the Aphi unless you were talking to the director of COB herself. Regular members can only contribute to COBing by submitting names. They have no control over the process. It's very easy for someone who has no control over the process to promise you something. But that's just my two cents.

I wouldnt put too much stock in what one member said. They are just 1 person. It doesnt sound like you are unhappy, just that you are still getting to know the place.

If you have already gone through initiation you are a Theta. Give yourself some time. I know there are some wonderful Sisters in your Sorority and you will connect with them and create some life long bonds.

If they wanted you the first time they should have given you a bid.

I would stay with theta. there's nothing wrong with them, and theres so many people in the sorority for you to befriend! hang in there, it takes awhile to find your group! do you like your friends in it? do you like your big? think of them before you make any decision
