No, they do not pick the best girls who are cream of the crop. They pick the girls who have the most connections to their chapters through legacies and alumni ties. But ties do not make a girl sweet, or pretty, or well-bred, or the cream of the crop, as we see time and time again. But they like to perpetuate this belief and they say it so much that people have usually fallen for it. But not so much anymore and the perception is changing to a more truthful reality. Connections do not equate to quality girls and just because a chapter makes a lot of cuts does not mean they are keeping the cre am. And being well-connected in Mississippi gets you...what? Uh huh, exactly.People are beginning to question what being KD, DDD, or XO here really means and these houses will either have to change up their rush game or start falling and fall hard. Go ahead "top" girls and have at it with the usual replies - "sorry you didn't get a bid" "someone's salty" etc etc etc LOL

XO is really a Jackson thing with a few random extras. When I went through rush two years ago every girl I met for three rounds was from Jackson. Its top only if you want the laid back non-existant life.
Tri delt I agree is a top house if wealthy is what your looking for. They have a reputation to uphold on being the top St Judes fundraising chapter so they are looking for very wealthy connected girls.
KD I have always liked these girls, but this years pledge class has me just scratching my head...what the hell were you people thinking?
DG got the best pledge class and I heard about several theta, adipi, and aphi girls who were crying on bid day because they had wanted DG so badly and preffed them and got their second choice. The real winners this year were definitely DG.
