Anyone can love love love their sorority... but the strongest sororities keep their girls for four years.
"Rankings" are mathematical. Who has the largest senior class? Who has the smallest pc 16? I'll bet its the same house. You are recruiting successfully when you bid contributing members.

By that logic you have to remove Aphi and Adpi all together from any kind of ranking. Don't call them bottom or lower. Just new. Period. Unable to rank. Excluded from tiers. Whatever you want to call it. But by your logic, they the oranges compared to the apples. Loop them in after 4 years of formal rush.

P.S. Truth be told, I don't think APhi and ADPi should be included in our rankings at all. They are simply too new. Aphi has been on campus all of 5 minutes, compared to DDD whose been hanging around for 100 years. Maybe you can include ADPi because they now have 2 formal rounds of rush behind them. But quite frankly I don't think a new sorority can or should be included until they are on campus a full 4 year cycle.

Keep making excuses for why you're bottom, universally loathed and can't retain members, alpha flea.

That was rude. APhi isn't great nationally and too new here so they take anyone with a pulse. At least the pledges got a bid from somewhere and not completely released from rush. Even girls who have bad reps and are grade risks should be able to join a group, learn social, service and leadership skills ands turn their lives around.

Aphi is very strong nationally. That being said, they are more of a northern sorority. Kappa Delta bring more of a southern sorority is not much of an option in the north.

One of the true measures of rankings is, as someone else posted, based on retention rates. Yes, campus participation, quality of girls, etc. What good is a chapter that is constantly losing members? Not a lot as it doesn't create a cohesive chapter.

As for chapters nationally, so many houses here are not strong elsewhere and visa versa, although there are those that are constantly ranked in the top 10 with Chi O, Tri-Delt, Theta, Kappa and Pi Phi ranking the higher. Interesting because at some schools out west, Tri-Delt and Chi O are not as strong. Likewise, the Southern-founded sororities - in particular KD and Phi Mu - aren't strong in other areas.

And there are some sororities, usually not quite as large nationally, that are very strong in the Midwest and West - Gamma Phi Beta, Alpha Phi, ADPi, and such.

In general, I think the obsession with rankings is ridiculous. You pledge a chapter for who they are at your campus, not their national ranking!

Alpha Phi has literally the strongest consistency in strong chapters internationally, probably because they have a polar opposite strategy than tridelts who shovels alllll of their time and money to their southern chapters

Actually Alpha Phi is ranked "top middle" at University of Texas.

While "PKT" is the mantra at Texas schools, Alpha Phi is very competitive. For instance, at University of North Texas Alpha Phi recruits at the number one spot.

Check it out - even on this site. \n\n\n\n\n
