honesty
by: This site is a jokeIs anyone honest anymore? Why is it so freaking necessary to shoot down sororities that aren't considered "top tier"??? So sick of it. Why can't we encourage everyone to love their sororities and for each chapter to support the other chapters? Would encourage strong sisterhood and polish up reputations not be better than making people who got a "lower tier" bid feel like dog crap? There are actually some people who are happy where they're at, but Heaven forbit they get on this site to find themselves so degraded by other sororities! You folks need to get a life. None of you are representing with high standards. I would hate for the charity organizations to see all this hate that is representing them. It's a shame!

The biggest reason is immaturity and dissatisfaction with their own Sorority. Secure people don't bash others. Each sorority has its positives and its negatives, and each contributes to the Ole Miss community. Sometimes the comments are just trolls (and we all know the mental health status of those people); but most are just immaturity and limited life experiences. It's easy to say don't pay attention to the negative comments, but seriously, if you like your Sorority Sisters, if you enjoy meeting new people and you like making a difference in the world - then 'don't pay attention to the negative comments'.

Seems more like savagery! Competing for greatness doesn't seem valid when the majority is comparing the shortcomings and negatives. If one chapter is great, explain why. Live by the standards that made you want to be apart of the sisterhood. Degrading others doesn't make anyone great. It discounts and depreciates the quality of all chapter. Greatness can be appraised by valuing quality character, ethics, integrity, morals, and civility, etc. Those things are greatness.
