Xo and kappa did really well this year, I must admit. KD always does well so that's no surprise. DG and DDD got some cute girls but didn't blow it out of the water with certain hometowns like they usually do. I am excited that diversity is headed our way. This will make our Greek system stronger and more unified!!!!

Happy it seems to have worked out for everyone! Have to say- the prettiest girls seem to be at KD and kappa although there are some gorgeous DG and XO's this year. DDD definitely took a tumble but it was time to shake things up a bit.

I didn't see a single house "tumble". The variable quota system worked in a couple of ways and failed in others. SO many girls that would have gone top, went to one of the bottom. There were a lot of shocked girls on bid day. I saw blank faces turn into smiles once they saw who else they found in their pledge classes. Lower houses gained more in numbers and even higher in quality. It was a fail in that many great girls were released or dropped altogether. I would be curious to know just how many were released and how many dropped out. To the girls who dropped, you lost out on great sisterhoods. You should have given it a shot. You would have been pleasantly surprised.

The Pi Phis had a great pledge class this rush. I don't see them mentioned in this thread, but as I looked around the houses during bid day, I was so impressed by the beauty of these girls. The most beautiful girl I have ever seen is a Pi Phi pledge this year.

Ahhhh, the annual bashing of the sororities! Some traditions never end.

This year nothing changed, except the bottom houses (alpha phi I'm looking at you) got some great girls!

Ddd/xo/kd were all forced to make some unfortunate cuts and are still stinging a little. Their pledge classes are as beautiful and talented as ever, but significantly smaller. If you were not a legacy and got a top houses, you can consider yourself exceptional! There were no package deals this year and girls that didn't fit were cut early!

DG/phi mu/kappa all got some great girls early released by the top houses. If they had kept a few top house legacies and favorites beyond the second round they would have done even better, as bottom houses benefited from this mistake.

Pi phi/aopi had their usual girls. Tons from oos. All beautiful and looked happy on bid day.

And the biggest winners from recruitment 2016: the bottom houses. Especially alpha phi, and trust me when I say, I am not a fan of their bashing of other houses! But they picked up a ton of top tier girls who were the unfortunate victims of the tiny top tier pledge classes. Way to go to theta, adpi and alpha phi!

It's true that Theta, aphi and adpi did well. But ddd not kill it this year and that's ok. I'm sure they will be back on top next year. Give xo and kd their due - they nailed it!! Yay for kappa- they deserved an amazing class and they got it!!

This post was actually great until some tri delt didn't like hearing they weren't "the best" in rush. They can't be happy for someone else.

A lot of girls raved about XO, DG, and AOPi! These three houses got the best responses from my group and their new pledge classes are definitely the best.

Not sure why anyone would be upset about this post.

Tri Delt definitely did not kill it with Memphis. They got one top girl but the rest went KD, XO, and Kappa!!!
