Contact Panhellenic office

However, not all houses will participate in COB.

1. Let the Greek Life office know you're interested in COB. If any houses are participating and they are interested in you, you'll be invited to their events. COB events are all by invitation only. No house is required to invite anyone who is on the Greek Life list.

2. Not saying this applies to you, but if you dropped out of formal rush because you didn't like the houses you had left, or if you suicided today because you thought you were too good for the other house, the houses you think you're too good for are going to be the ones who have 95% of the COB openings this year. Many houses have a "once cut, always cut" national rule so if they cut you this week, you don't have a chance of getting a bid from them via COB or going through formal again as a sophomore.

How do you let the Greek Office know your interested in COB? I looked on the Panhellenic website and couldn't find anything. Do I just email Ole Miss Panhellenic?

I am guessing on this but do know some rules. But I have to ask, how does she know another one wanted her? Was it just someone saying that they had wanted her? That doesn't mean she was on their list high enough to get a bid. If she truly has questions, she should inquire with Panhellenic office for an explanation of how she was offered a bid from a group she did not pref and had attended pref parties to other groups.

Your daughter never cut anyone. That's not how it works. She ranked groups. Ranking someone last doesn't mean she "cut" them. If she did not list the group that offered a bid on the bid card she signed, she has no obligation to accept the bid and is free to COB. She was offered a Snap bid which allows groups below quota to offer bids to any woman they chose that didn't receive a bid.
