You have a good chance of getting a bid, depending on where you are ranked. With that said, no you are not guaranteed a bid to DDD. With the amount of legacies going through Rush, the amount of girls each house is allowed to take this year really changes who each house takes, regardless of legacies and who you know in the house. Best of luck, though!

There is a difference between legacies & chapter legacies. Chapter legacies are looked at more favorably than just regular legacies.

If you make it past sisterhood round, and pref Tri Delt, you will automatically be placed at the top of their first or second list. It's not a guaranteed bid, but it's pretty darn close.

I'm not DDD but a...shall we say...similar house. If you're invited back at this point they want you for you and not your legacy status, but that does not mean you are automatically going to pref. Still cuts to be made, and our hearts are breaking at the girls we have to release!

IF you make it to pref, unless they discover a major reputation disaster or something of that ilk, you're coming aboard. I believe every sorority at Ole Miss has the national rule that if you are a legacy (chapter or not) and you are at pref, you are placed first on the bid list. It should be displayed on the national website, but that's how it works for mine and I do believe all of them have the same rule. So there would have to be more legacies than quota for you to not make it, which won't happen.

Fingers crossed for you girl!

If you are a double legacy to any chapter and still there at five party, you are most likely in. If you are a double legacy and at pref, you are in.

If you are a legacy period, once, twice, 3x doesn't matter, and you are invited to pref and rank them 1st you should be fine. But crazy things are happening this year so who knows!

I'm am astounded by the bad advice given out on this web page and this one is no exception

Double, triple, doesn't matter if every single female in your family dating back to the civil war was a tri delt, there is no national policy that says they have to invite you to pref or guarantee you a bid.

This wasn't party number five! Today was the second day of round three.

Bad advice aside, you can rest assured, regardless of legacy status or not, that tri delt wants you if you made it through to sisterhood round. Unfortunately tonight's will be hard cuts. Actives will cry, PNM's will cry, alumni will cry. No getting around the fact that we have to further trim our lists.

If a legacy doesn't get invited to pref, then yes, your chances at getting a bid are pretty good. National policy says that they have to put you at the top of the first or second list.

Being a legacy in Chi O and going back to pref doesn't guarantee you anything at Ole Miss. A girl on my floor last year wasnt given a bid and National said Ole Miss Chi O was the only chapter that doesn't guarantee a legacy returning for pref a bid.
