• Remember that you are joining a SISTERHOOD – a place where you will feel at home, find your people, and have a social life while you are at school, and a few very special girlfriends that you will have all your life. Sorority membership is not an honor society or an award, though some small-minded small-town people act like it is. You know better.
• Don’t worry about being judged by your letters. You need to worry about your own reputation. Cute, sweet, fun, and kind – these traits are the key to your social life and if you have these you will be admired and welcomed anywhere. Membership in a particular sorority will not give or take away any of these qualities.
• Go with your gut. What is the best for one person will be a disaster for another. Your heart knows best.
• If you are released, please don’t let it get you down and force an emotional decision that you will regret. Give your other choices a chance.
