what happened at tri delt?
by: ????.There are rumors FLYING around this campus right now. Did a daughter of a chapter president get cut or is that not true? Also I know girls say this every year and for the most part it isn't true, but another rumor is that there was a "glitch" that cut girls that weren't supposed to be cut. I understand that the biggest houses were required by Panhellenic to release a huge amount of girls after Greek day, but can they get in trouble with alumni because the legacy wasn't invited to one invitational round?

There is no glitch in the system. As for cutting the daughter of a past chapter president who knows. If they did then I would believe they are focused on getting the girls they feel fit best in their sorority In 2016. I understand respecting legacies but with variable quota tough decisions have to be made.

A past presidents daughter...oh my!
Not every legacy is a good fit with the current chapter or a chapter on a different campus. Each person is an individual. I am so thankful my family legacies made sure to let me know to do what I felt was best for me. I wish more alums would take the pressure of their legacies and the chapters and let the actives and the PNM's figure it out.

If they werent going to take her that was the humane thing to do. Leading her along when she would have no other choices would just be cruel.
