Freshmen,

I have by now all met you and discussed you. Tonight is NOT THE NIGHT TO GO OUT!!! You could literally tank your entire recruitment if we see you out, drunk tonight. Actives will be out, our alumni are all in town & looking for a reason to cut excess numbers.

Also, now that we know you, put a little make-up on when you head to class. If we see you on campus looking all cute, we are more likely to notice!

Or you can ignore me, say I don't know what I'm taking about and take your chances.

Truth to this- last year I was sick as crap during rush felt awful but did my best. Unfortunately made the mistake of heading off to class looking lets just say "less than stellar" because I felt so bad... and yes wouldn't you know ran into a group of actives from a house I really liked... I was cut the next round :-( may not have been because of how heinous I looked but honestly looking back had I seen myself I would have cut me too ;-)
