Legacies get cut every year. There are hundreds of legacies coming through each year. Chapters can't possibly bid them all.
If a chapter is smart, they will take great quality girls over average legacies.
Ole miss sororities have been doing this for years now. Chi Omega is the only sorority who tries to keep legacies, and it shows!

You want us to support houses that are cutting PNM's in the attempt to be "selective" then get upset when PNM's suggest they would like to be selective too?

Who came up with stupid system that is getting people thrown out of rush? Most people use to go to a few parties. I think somebody needs to chew somebody out over this silly new system that is not working.

@Oh No - you do know the bottom houses cut girls every year right? There are girls that aren't qualified and that's who the "bottom houses" reserve the right to cut. Just because your sorority is cutting more girls doesn't mean another house should be forced to keep anyone. If a girl is great enough that you're upset about cutting her then I doubt she's one that a "bottom house" would be cutting anyway.

Double standards! You want girls to take a chance on bottom houses, but bottom houses aren't willing to take a chance on bottom girls?
Makes no sense. There should be a place for everyone.

There absolutely does not have to be a place for everyone/ Bottom girls are always at risk of getting released. This year is no different. Sororities are a private organization and if think you don't meet their standards there is no reason they should have to take you. Not to mention PANHELLENIC tells chapters how many girls to cut, they don't pick themselves!

If you drop any house you will not get a snap bid. Snap bids are for girls who were dropped from all houses. If you go to any pref and then don't sign a card you will not be participating in bid day.

Don't be manipulated and make your own choice! Life will not be over if you don't get a bid!!! You have the right to control your own destiny.... So "don't be stupid" and chose for yourself! You can not get a COB or spring recruit if you sign pref card!!! And they don't have to give you a bid

if the reason you aren't pledging a house is bc of the reputation then get over yourself. you're not better than anyone in any house and they aren't better than you
