is it good or bad...

If you get a chance to talk to someone important during a round, like a rush chair or other exec member, that's a good thing, right?

Maybe. Rush chairs and execs vote no as often as they vote yes. Maybe even more so.

Again, it depends on the house.

You name has already been placed on a list that has already been ordered. Your resume has been looked at, you gpa calculated, your recs read, etc. we have already assigned you a number in our list.

That is where you are. If you are number 501 on our list and we only get to keep 500 girls, you will be cut. If you are 499 on our list you get to stay.

Any girls above you on the list who drop our house will mean that you get to move up to take their place.

Every house calculates their lists differently and every house is looking for something different.

our exec talks to you if you're a legacy or a favorite but they also will come up to you if they heard you were being rude at other houses or even at our own house so that they can down vote you.
The pnms forget that we all have friends in other houses and friends on their recruitment teams, so don't think you can be mean in one house and think other houses won't hear about it

At some houses they just randomly talk to you and don't have a vote. Unless within the minutes they said hi to you they decided they hate or love you is the only difference it would make.
