legacy question
by: ???I'm a legacy and I made it to philanthropy round but my GPA is not fantastic by any means. I have a friend that has an awesome GPA and didn't get invited back. I assumed that even though I'm a legacy I would have been cut because of my grades but I made it (which I'm super excited about, dont get me wrong) I'm just curious why, and if this means anything!

Most chapters have a policy where they invite legacies back to a minimum of one invitational round. That would be Philanthropy. The lucky girls are the legacies who are released after the first round, at least they don't get their hopes up.
If your gpa is low, I would expect the worst.
Also, My chapter's minimum gpa requirement is 3.3 for non-legacies and 3.0 for legacies. Most chapters have a lower threshold for legacies.
