alpha phi pledge class
by: jwis the alpha phi pledge class going to be good this year? i know their pledge class is going to be huge. Are they expected to get any good girls?
#1 by: not sure but
Probably. With the top houses having to cut so many, another thread mentioned a trickle down effect. Other threads are saying that pnms like them at least okay, so girls probably won't drop them on bid day, so they'll probably end up with at least good girls (probably not great)

APhi and ADPi are completely different sororities with completely different recruitment strategies. I truly don't get why there's all the comparison to the type of girl that they take, or this idea that everybody has to be the same. That doesn't apply anywhere. You are talking about hundreds of girls. They aren't the same in any house. If APhi wants to recruit a "type" (because you are clearly the poster who keeps stressing this point over and over again, whether you are talking about girls being a type or like-minded or whatever that keeps popping up again and again in recent days), that's fine. But that has nothing to do with ADPi. Or Theta. Or AOPi, or even DDD or XO. I'm assuming you are an APhi because once again we have a post where ADPi is insulted in the context of boosting up Alpha Phi.
Quite honestly I think that variable quota will benefit BOTH houses, regardless of whether they are a mixed bag or all a same type. Mixed bag isn't a bad thing. Neither is everybody being a same type. It's just about perspective and is really just a matter of opinion.

Aphi's pledge class will be good. There are so many amazing girls going through. I wouldn't expect your typical "cookie cutter" pledge class. It's going to be a mixed bag similar to ADPi. Regardless, you will still have swaps, philanthropy events, date parties, formals, chapter meetings, sisterhood events, etc. What's not to love about all those things?
