I knew 1 person at Ole Miss when I came here and she was a Kappa. During rush I loved the Kappas and thought for sure this is where I will go. But as the week went on I began to like DG. I didnt know anything about DG because they didn't have them where I was from. I ended up going DG and loved it! Keep an open mind, you never know.

my mom was a chi o here so I thought for sure thats where I would end up but I got dropped after round one. Im from far away with a yellow zone gpa so to be expected plus my mom wasn't a super involved alum. Kind of hurt but I wasn't devastated because I had 2 at pref that I really liked (kappa and phi mu). kappa was my favorite all week and I went kappa and I can't imagine myself elsewhere!

I was rushed by about 4 different houses HARD!!!
the whole time, even before rush, I loved one house so much but tried to keep an open mind and I still hungout with all my friends at other houses.
ended up crying during rush because I wanted that same house so bad. ended up getting my dream house!!!!!!!!
tbh, keep an open mind. if i didn't get XYZ then my heart would of broke. i knew i would fit into this house the best and thank god that was received by them. but don't get your hopes up because anything could of happened

I had a similar experience. Word of caution to all PNM's: DO NOT go in with preconceived ideas about the sorority that you expect to join. You might be pleasantly surprised!
