sororities

All the sororities at Ole Miss are good, and everyone's opinions will change depending on the few girls that each of them knows. That being said based off of my experience at rush, in terms of competitiveness here are the ranks:

xo/ddd - both compete for the same girls. xo is a lot more laid back and put more of an emphasis on academics. ddd has a lot of high maintenance girls who put more of an emphasis on being involved around campus.

kd/dg - kd is slightly better than dg, but both are super competitive and look for the best all around girls.

phi mu/kappa - phi mu has a better sisterhood, but kappa is gaining respect.

pi phi - this house is divided between super pretty girls and friendly outgoing girls. They tend to get PNM's who lack connections in the top 6.

aopi - this house was the center of controversy this past spring. They seem to be having internal issues because of it. That said, they take a ton of OOS girls.

theta/adpi - adpi is new and still establishing themselves, but the girls seem to be friendly and outgoing. Theta needs some work. The variable quota system will help both these chapters!

aphi - Too new to tell, but because they took such a small pledge class last year, nobody really knows who they are.
