pregames
by: pnmA lot of girls I know are going to pregames with certain sororities literally every with girls they knew in high school, no one from my area went to ole-miss and i've only been here a week so i don't know any actives well enough to go out with them. How does this play out in rush? do the girls who went to pregames usually get bids from the sorority theyve been partying with and does it hurt me a lot or place me lower since I dont know any girls from high school.

You are at an obvious disadvantage not knowing anyone. Yes, you will get a bid, it you meet all the qualifications, you just aren't as likely to get bids from certain houses. Keep an open mind.
When I went through three years ago, there were no girls from my high school there already. I'm also from oos. I made it a priority of getting to know alumni from ole miss who were living in my hometown and they were all too happy to introduce me to any and all current students they knew. You should have been doing this all last year!
Pregames are for the active's and pnm's to get to know each other better. Being invited could help you or hurt you. If you get sloppy drunk at one, you can kiss a bid from that sorority goodbye.
Also, we are not interested in everyone we invite. We might invite girls because we are interested in her friends.
