how hard is it to get into Kappa or Phi Mu with out knowing any of the girls but having good recs

It's not as hard as the top houses, but you will still need connections.

I'm in one of these houses, but I didn't know anyone. But I still had recs, a bunch of activities, and great grades to make up for it

I only had one recommendation for one of these houses, and I knew absolutely no one in the house, but I got a bid :) if you're meant to be in a house, you will end up there regardless of connections

Maybe kappa and phi mu will bid without connections, but the top four houses will be much harder to accomplish that.

Honestly these types of questions are supposed to be private. Most of us post anonymously on this website and give very general information as to not give out chapter voting and selection secrets.

For example: in top sororities you will need a 3.3 or higher.

Nobody can give you an honest answer because only phi mu's know and they can't divulge without giving out confidential information.
