girl in a wheelchair have a chance at getting bid

by: Curious

Hi, I'm just curious of a girl with physical disabilities would have a chance here at actually getting a bid here?

As long as you meet all the other criteria like a good gpa and resume and have good connections you will be fine.

If you are the kind of girl a house would normally pledge then being in a wheelchair will in no way keep you from getting a bid. I'm sure you also worry that people treat you differently or give you special treatment now and if that's genuine. A sorority that wants you will want you for you. This rush is competitive and being in a wheelchair won't get you a bid, so be confident in knowing the sorority truly likes you. For comparison purposes, there is a sorority at MSU with a member who is blind and a member that is missing an arm from the elbow down. All that to say, those things didn't inhibit them joining and having friends and it won't inhibit you either.

Are all sorority houses equipt with wheelchair ramps? Many have steps to the front door.

All of the houses may not have ramps, but they are required by law to be accessible by wheelchair.
