Which ones spring rush?

All of the fraternities take a small spring pledge class. It's not nearly as much fun to pledge with a smaller group, but those that rush in the spring do so because they already know guys in the fraternities. It is much more informal than rush in the fall.

The only sororities that participate in spring informal recruitment are sororities that are under chapter total. For example the new sororities who are still trying to expand their chapters and sororities that have a lot of girls drop out before graduation creating open spots.

It's hard to anticipate who is participating in informal recruitment. Sororities do not get together and hold formal recruitment like they do in the fall. In the spring they just invite girls they like to come out and attend private recruitment events and extend bid to those girls they like.

I think pi phi, aopi, theta, adpi, and aphi have taken smaller pledge classes in the spring. The top six are always at or above total and have no room to extend bids until formal recruitment in the fall when chapter totals are reevaluated.
