by: PnmSo my GPA is a 2,98. Will they round up and call this a 3? What are the GPA requirements for each sorority. I have only seen KKG as 3.3. Seems hopeless with them, I won't bother getting LOR for them.

Quit asking these tyoes of questions on here if you want accurate answers. Trolls manipulate the answers in favor of their sororities.
The honest answer is that nobody can answer your question. Even kkg makes exceptions.
You will have cuts because, no, they won't round up, but depending on your resume, and looks, and personality, and connections, and return rates, and everything else that occurs during rush, you just never know where you will end up.

It burns me up when people come on this website and say things like "oh there's basically no point in rushing if you don't have a 3.0" because that's so wrong. You can get cut for MANY reasons that have nothing to do with grades. Yes, your GPA in HS is important because it's foreshadowing how you'll do in college, but there are exceptions made every year, in every house. I know girls who had two (or less) houses left after first round, and then there are the girls who didn't have "green zone" GPA's how had a full schedule every round or close to it. Be YOUR best during recruitment. Make sure your resume is good, keep your social media clean..just absolutely do your best from here on out and hope for the best! Trust the system, you will end up in the house you're meant to be in!

Dear Know-It-All,
I'm actually a sophomore:) I honestly didn't read much of your comment, since it wasn't at all relevant to what I was saying. I wasn't saying that you can have a 2.1 GPA and be in any sorority you want just because you're cute. I was saying that it makes me angry when people totally discourage girls from rushing just because of GPA. Yes, I know some have good intent, but most don't. If you're going to go to Ole Miss, I'd say it's pretty important to go through recruitment. Even if you don't stay in a sorority, you got to meet people and the experience is unique. My whole point was that everyone should give it a shot, because even the girls who had awesome grades in HS get blacklisted.

The prettiest, sweetest, great resume, and legacy to two of the top three sororities got cut second round because of her GPA. Her GPA was under or right at a 3.0. It is the Advisors in a lot of the houses that cut because of grades.
