Do sororities take into consideration weighted GPA's during recruitment?

They only look at unweighted. Or rather the unweighted is the only gpa the university will share with them.

You need to convert your gpa to a 4.0 scale.

4.0 for every A
3.0 for every B
2.0 for every C
1.0 for every D

Add up all 4 years.

my school only puts the weighted gpa out of a 4.0 scale on the transcript. I was told they look at the gpa on transcript.

They recalculate.

But a 4.0 scale is usually unweighted.

Some kids show up with like a 6.0 on a 7.0 scale. That usually shows weighting.
