fraternity parties

Do any of the Fraternities have rush parties in Atlanta ,Charlotte, Memphis ,Etc . in the summer ? Also, how do they get your name to invite you?

I know SN and Phi Delt have summer parties in Memphis and Atl. As for as getting invited someone has to put you on the list.

I plan to be in Oxford by Aug 1st ,but I am working all summer and can't get there any sooner. Will this hurt me if I don't get to any summer parties?
