I'm going to start a new post down here because I'm tired of having to scroll all the way back up to respond.
I have no idea why two of you are being so childish! I do totally agree that one of you is a mom who's daughter got cut from her favorite house and loves to come on here and put other sororities down! It happens mom, get over it!

Kappa does have that party girl vibe! We all have at least one friend who is a kappa that is a blast to hang out with. Not sure about their sisterhood as most kappas hang out with other sorority groups, but we certainly love to have them around.
As far as class goes, no, that's not a word that is often used to describe kappa, but who cares When they can persuade you to jump on the bar and dance so your night turns memorable AF! This is college after all, not the Jackson junior league.
No, kappa is not considered "better" than dg or phi mu, but they are a solid respectable sorority that girls love to see on their bid cards!
Honestly, they cut me after first round because I didn't have any connections, I wasn't really upset, but seeing the girls in their pledge class that year, I immediately knew they got a good one! Looking back, I should have tried harder to make connections, instead of working so hard trying to connect with all the top houses. Don't get me wrong, I love my top house, but kappa certainly has a "cooler" vibe!

Hearing all the negativity. Not fair to group every single kappa as "party girls". There are many Kappas that are smart and genuinely nice & classy girls who work hard and have standards. That's just like saying that all DGs are boring...which is not true. Every sorority has their classy girls and their party girls so look past the stereotypes and get over yourselves
