state rush vs ole miss rush

Coming from someone who has personal knowledge from both schools rush--

It is harder to get into a top tier at ole miss. Rush as a whole is harder at ole miss. Much more cut throat

HOWEVER

Ms state has more girls get cut from every house. They actually released more girls from rush like who had gotten cut from every house after the round of rush than Alabama did all week.

Therefore- ole miss is more cutthroat and more based of old tradition and who you know/who your family is but MSU is more overall selective about who gets to be in a sorority. Except ADPi at state. They are girls who would never be in a sorority at ole miss in a million years.

Example of differences:
There was a girl who got to pref night at state and had only Chi O and KD left and they both cut her pref night so she didn't get a bid and she transferred to ole miss and got into Kappa. She had gotten cut from DG, which is the other top tier at state.

Usually our rush is by far harder but this year state was. The reason is because we have more sororities with larger pledge classes. They recently got the where more girls rush there, about the same number as who rush here. They don't have the space we do so they started getting more selective which made their rush recently get harder.
