The ole miss chapter does the same thing every other tri delt chapter in the nation does. They have a letter writing campaign and send out thousands of letters each year asking for support.
I have a ton of friends that are tri delt at various schools all over and my parents get between 6-7 letters every year asking for donations.
They also have their on campus philanthropy events like d-hop and they throw a big party every year that includes silent auctions to also raise money.
Every tri delt I know is somewhat obsessed with at Jude.

There is not one top sorority at ole miss. There are three. They are all on top for a variety of reasons. We can't list them, choosing a favorite sorority during rush is a personal decision. Most girls go into rush wanting one of these top three. That's how they are considered a top sorority. Return rates.
Girls go into rush wanting Ddd or xo or kd.
Girls are happy with bids to dg or phi mu or kkg
There is a slight disappointment with pi phi or aopi.
Theta is a huge disappointment. (Come on tell the truth)
Adpi and aphi are consolation prizes. They are neither bad nor good.

Still don't have an answer as to WHY girls go in wanting DDD? Just for philanthropy.....really?

It's always funny to me when you see the really awkward girls the top houses are forced to take because they are legacies. Honestly these girls would not fit in anywhere and certainly don't fit with the image of top house! But they are "somebody's" daughter so the houses are stuck with them! I mean some are down right pitiful!

Ok tridelts are REALLY bad though, there's not one other school where those girls would be let in as a "top house." Their avg girls must weight around 150 pounds! It's bad... And don't say they accepted them based on personality their alum has way too much control. Tridelt would be bottom at any other school

In reality they are the absolute least selective sorority. The pledge classes are almost completely made up of legacies that get automatic bids no matter what their grades are, what they look like or what, if any, special qualities they have. It actually isn't fair for the rest of the girls participating in rush to have to waste their time there. Rush for them is just a formality since there are usually enough (or more than enough) legacies to fill the pledge class.

You are completely wrong. Only 30 girls in the last pledge class were legacies.
I have no idea why you are hell bent on picking on tri delta, but your motives seem a little shady.
I can only imagine.....

I'm not sure what to make of these negative posts. From the outside, I see gorgeous girls the last two years going try-delta, many of whom were not legacies. Their grades are great, too. Maybe your were cut by them, treated poorly by them or something else but you are the only person not impressed by Tri-delta. Get over your sour attitude. I don't see any lacking dates either, but I bet you do!
