what people really think

For real. That last post was on point. Not sure why everyone thinks coming from Jackson ms is a good thing. Where I'm from (New York) when people hear I go to college in Mississippi they look at me like I have 3 heads and ask if I think I'll get a good job after college. It's sad because I love it here and wouldn't trade it for anything. but people really think of Mississippi as a 3rd world country almost

Quit believing what others think and start to use your brain! Out alumni are everywhere! They are successful and you will be too!

Most of us are not from Jackson!

P.S. I know my post sounds kind of harsh, but I get so tired of defending a place that people have never to but think they know everything about.

Ole Miss has some of the wealthiest alumni in the SEC, which is why the University is so nice and well kept (tuition obviously isn't the reason it's cheap). The last thing I'm worried about is getting a job after graduation, our alumni are everywhere.
