Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at University of Mississippi - Ole Miss 1.8 I know a lot of Thetas in the new pledge class and they are nice girls, however I did not enjoy Theta during recruitment. The active members acted like they did not want to talk to me. I cut them but was asked back. I ended up getting a bid from them on bid day, but I did not feel welcome. I also have a very different personality than most of the girls, so it's not necessarily that this is a bad sorority, I just don't belong there.

Their pledge class is good and has a lot of of gorgeous out of state girls. Wish they would make it more exclusive to more attractive girls though so that more attractive girls would end up choosing them ... a lot of my friends are in theta and are just trying to stick together. They obviously care a lot about their sorority and about each other, which is honestly what everyone should look for in a sorority.

More exclusive to attractive girls? Why can't people just accept how each other look. That's the real problem with sororities. It's all about how people look now and not the quality of the girl.

That isn't what I was saying, but to improve in tier the most important thing to start with is by not taking girls with bright pink hair...it's a little scary for the PNMs to see....

Make it more exclusive to more attractive girls, thought so that more attractive girls would end up choosing them... and a lot of your friends are Theta's.... Who needs enemies with friends like you?

"Not taking girls with bright pink hair" ...seriously? Listen if you're "afraid" of someone with pink hair you've got some personal issues you need to work through. I would FAR rather have a girl with unconventional hair than a girl who is so judgemental she won't join a sorority because she's "afraid" of a girl with pink hair.

Why do you feel a sorority should be based on beauty? That to me is so shallow. Beauty is viewed two ways, both inside and out. Perhaps you should practice learning about the individual based on personality and character over and above looks.
