These are Mississippi wanna be housewives that will never use their degree. Think they’re hot and not very friendly- a few are. They are an extension of their Mississippi high school- no thank you!

Please watch out for KD during recruitment. Even if you’re from the south with as many rec letters and a good resume, they do not care. KD alum choose each PC and over the past couple of years they bid promise and take you all the way to preference round just to drop you even after you say yes. Girls are not genuine, very clicky

The most boring chapter on campus. Aren’t allowed to go out. Aren’t allowed to choose who they date. Date parties and swaps are so lame.

Kappas okay i see a lot of drinking if that is cool. Like to hang out with them. You have ti pick and choose with them some.

Very intimidating process of going through Rush. But I had a great experience and really have enjoyed meeting everyone and for the most part everyone gets along really well, which I find super impressive with 400 girls. The swaps are a blast and date parties with these girls are always a good time. AOT

Currently in this sorority and I want to drop so badly. Want to know why KD’s retention rate is “so good”? Because they literally do not let girls drop. Only way to drop is to transfer, drop out of college, or graduate early. I know so many girls that graduated early just to get away from the drama and superficiality that is KD at Ole Miss. No one talks about how your own sisters will shun you if you associate with “lesser” sororities and fraternities. I have heard some older PC’s even saying how they used to be told not to hang out with people of color or anyone part of the LGBTQ community. KD puts on the biggest show on social media and during recruitment. They will wave their shiny letters in your face and make you feel soooo loved. The truth is so far from what they promise. Do yourself a favor and join somewhere genuine and somewhere that understands that life is more than status and “tiers”

Smart, put together, kind women who enjoy and support each other. Active on campus and in the community

This is a great chapter they are overall a very welcoming sorority. They are very involved and have very sweet girls that seem like they all get along very well.

Smart, classy young women. Very selective and focus on grades and community involvement. Every KD I’ve met is fun and seem genuine.

Here’s the thing. Is KD a nationally well known sorority? Sure! Does it have pretty girls? Sure, they all do. Does it have rancid girls, that too, just like everyone else. Are they involved? Yes, I’ll give them that. Are they friendly? NO! I don’t think they know what that means. Are they cliquey? Beyond what you could imagine. Do we not move to college to grow? To meet new people? To get out of your bubble? KD has a beautiful house, sure. They are super involved, sure. Yet, they are NOT friendly, they are NOT inclusive, they are NOT social other than with themselves. They are NOT open minded. I think it just depends who you are and what you’re looking for. Rush is such an act. Ask yourself what it looks like when the lights go off and the theater is closed- not all that appears to be, is truly what it is. Stuck up and not genuine, lack adversity, inclusivity. It’s actually sad.
