Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at University of Mississippi - Ole Miss 2.4 These girls are delusional. All they do is talk bad about every other chapter. I’ve heard so many of them bad mouth others, that I just roll my eyes. I wish I would have been more open minded through rush. There are deep roots at Ole Miss, as well as deep pockets, I would say the chapter is superficial and not a true sisterhood at all. Fake and entitled. It’s so disappointing. They just think they are so good because mommy somewhere keeps telling them they are so good- NOT because they really are. EW

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at University of Mississippi - Ole Miss 2.0 During rush I was very enthusiastic about going dg. Everyone seemed as if they knew who I was. But as soon as rush was over, it was clear that everything was fake. Your “sisters” don’t speak to you as they tell you and the girls seem to be the “mean girls” of college. I have never felt so unwelcomed by a group of girls that are supposed to be my sisters. It’s all about status and all anyone cares about is being labeled as the best. Maybe I’m not a “sorority girl” but this goes against a lot of my morals. Girls that you have met before and had good conversation with don’t even look in your direction when you see them.

@olemiss1234-You are misinformed regarding Delta Gamma's national presence. Since 1902, Delta Gamma has been one of the eight founding members of the National Panhellenic Conference. KD, Phi Mu etc...didn't even join until a decade later. KD and Phi Mu have a strong regional presence in the South. However their influence wanes outside of that region. Delta Gamma on the other hand along with the other seven Panhellenic founders have a much strong presence throughout the U.S.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at University of Mississippi - Ole Miss 2.5 I think Ole Miss DG was top tier at one point, but they just couldn’t maintain the status because nationally DG is just not up there with certain sororities (Chi O, KD, Phi Mu, etc.) The ladies of DG at Ole Miss for the most part are average, and most that I have met are really odd. Many don’t seem like the type of girls who would even be in a sorority. I try to avoid DG, and for someone rushing, I’d be really cautious because they bid promise almost everyone. Sadly, I think they are just a desperate chapter now.
