Derby Days was a bit of a disaster, but AOII is known for having a really strong sisterhood. Very diverse sorority, but most girls I've met seem really sweet and love being an AOII.

Went to Ole Miss to visit some friends in a different sorority. One of my friends is BFFs with an AOPi at Ole Miss. She was very sweet and she obviously loves being a panda! She is the only AOPi that I know, but she loves her sorority a lot so that must count for something

AOPi is full of great girls who are smart, funny, sweet, and just all-around great girls! This chapter is one of the largest AOPi chapters in the country and they deserve a big shout out for raising the more money for their philanthropy than any other AOPi chapter for many years and for having great role models in their chapter!

Everyone knows their Derby Days was an awful display of representation, but getting passed that they are cute girls, some really beautiful but you think "why are you an AOPi??" Also nationally they aren't a strong chapter and at the end of the day you are only an active member for 4 years, so think about the bigger picture when going through recruitment. At Ole Miss there are plenty of chapters that are good on campus and great nationally.

AOII is actually very strong internationally and have very active alumnae communities throughout the country. Don't just comment when you actually have no idea. Thanks.

Think before you speak because you sound ignorant right now. 1. Ole Miss AOPi has raised more money than any other AOPi chapter in the country for the past 10 or so years. 2. AOPi is one of the top sororities for raising money for their philanthropy 3. Bigger picture? After you graduate you're an alumni who writes recs for girls going through rush or you're part of a committee if you're interested. It's the same for any other sorority on campus. Before you post here and try to make a sorority look bad, you need to think a little.

I happen to be a member of a very active AOII alumnae chapter. The above statement couldn't be less true. AOII is a very strong INTERNATIONAL organization, with an amazing sisterhood, that lasts well beyond the 4 collegiate years. AOII alumnae members continue their involvement with collegiate chapters throughout the United States and Canada with philanthropy, community service, chapter advisement, etc, etc...throughout our lifetime. Alpha Omicron Pi sisterhood is a lifelong commitment that we take very seriously. Thank you kindly for not trying to tarnish our beautiful sisterhood and organization. Ignorant comments, trying to degrade our AOII name, will never be taken seriously. Mean spirited comments say more about YOU, than they do of us. Not to mention, the lovely young ladies of Ole Miss Alpha Omicron Pi are TOP NOTCH, beautiful and intelligent LADIES. --An overall CLASS ACT, who I am PROUD to call my sisters! Alpha Love! Go AOII! Keep Exceeding the Expectation! ♡♡♡

Great during rush, didn't go AOPi though. I have a lot of friends in AOPi and they all love it! Very sweet girls, a little under the radar but I think they're rising along with Pi Phi!

I really liked aoii going through rush, but I'm so glad I didn't end up here. This fall's pledge class was all over the place. I had some friends who went aoii and love it, but I had a lot of friends who dropped because the sisterhood was so bad. They said they went for quantity, not quality. My experience with aoii has been a mixed bag, some are sweet but I've met some psycho ones. Derby days was a disaster, and it really reflects how this sorority has gone down.

Best sisterhood on campus. They really have each other's backs. AOPi's are also really involved on campus with the black fraternities and sororities, they won Miss Ole Miss, and so much more. Very genuine and classy too. I wouldn't judge a whole chapter based on one girls mistake...especially since an other house (I won't say the name) had their whole Derby Days group getting sick in the bathroom afterwards.
