1)I went to ddd every round & was never asked what my parents did(no house did) 2)I'm not from Jackson or Mississippi & knew 1 person, had to use my character and personality (novel idea I know) 3)yes tridelt has money but so does EVERY SINGLE sorority at ole miss & they all brag about it (it annoys me too) There's no bad houses at ole miss so please just stop tearing people down, it really doesn't make you feel that much better in the long run!

DG was closed through no fault of the chapter. In the early 1930s, Ole Miss was in a shambles as a university -- the crooked governor at the time ran it into the ground by firing the faculty and staff and replacing them with his cronies. As a result, Ole Miss lost its accreditation. DG nationals thought it would look bad to have a chapter at an unaccredited school, so they closed the chapter in 1931 and reopened it in 1938, when things got back to normal. They built their house that same year.

From what I saw during formal and pre rush events these guys were sharp and exclusive. They seem to have a unique bond with the DDD's on campus as well as with XO's.

They really are the best no question. They got an awesome pledge class this year and all of the guys I know are soooo nice and will be very successful after college.
