They weren't my favorite in recruitment. I didn't like the wall paper, the drink wasn't to my liking, my girl was kind of awkward... Me and DG just clashed, but regardless, I know a lot of girls that would have killed to be in this house. It has a very prestigious history and they are THE MOST involved in campus life. Their community service is off the charts and I'm really proud that they are on our campus and were the first to be at Ole Miss.

Chi O's GPA is impressive. Which also makes them competitive. I wish I could say more about it but that seems to be their reputation as high in academia. The inside of their home is lovely but it is quite far down the hill on rebel drive. I bet they all have nice legs.

Ok Baby Powder: -1 pt. The girl that swooped out to pick me up during rush was ABSOLUTELY stunning! Their video was really cute too. It definitely takes a certain kind of girl to wear their colors, but I think they've got a real good house and have a lot of creativity. Don't be quick to label them as stupid for being feminine. Those two features do not necessarily have to correlate and characterizations can be damaging to women as a whole.

AOPi is one of the few houses that accepts out of state girls, which I applaud given that it can be a risky reputation move. They impressed me the most at philanthropy round with their decorations! Although I'm happy at my house, I would have been just as happy with AOPi. I've seen a diverse group of girls, so of course not all of them are supermodels, but an eclectic mixture of some groovy girls.

Theta accepts out of states and non-freshman, which may off the bat make some people think they aren't top tier. However, to be competitive, you might have to take a girl that yes, she's older or a grade risk but she's got the best resume and she's pretty and she speaks well, etc. You have to look outside the box. Their alumni list is CRAZY! They could definitely use a refining course in southern etiquette though, and to learn to become more charming.
