Currently in this sorority and I want to drop so badly. Want to know why KD’s retention rate is “so good”? Because they literally do not let girls drop. Only way to drop is to transfer, drop out of college, or graduate early. I know so many girls that graduated early just to get away from the drama and superficiality that is KD at Ole Miss. No one talks about how your own sisters will shun you if you associate with “lesser” sororities and fraternities. I have heard some older PC’s even saying how they used to be told not to hang out with people of color or anyone part of the LGBTQ community. KD puts on the biggest show on social media and during recruitment. They will wave their shiny letters in your face and make you feel soooo loved. The truth is so far from what they promise. Do yourself a favor and join somewhere genuine and somewhere that understands that life is more than status and “tiers”

Very intimidating process of going through Rush. But I had a great experience and really have enjoyed meeting everyone and for the most part everyone gets along really well, which I find super impressive with 400 girls. The swaps are a blast and date parties with these girls are always a good time. AOT
