Will sigma kappa be pairing with frats, having socials, parents weekend etc. when the new members come in this year or do they have to wait till next year to be fully established?

Depends on how they want to do it but Dphie had all those things when they colonized. Although it probably won't be right away when they first colonize.

They have to get established first and foremost. It's 150 women who don't know anything about how a sorority works. They will establish leadership positions and go through the pledge process. Look for them to be more social next year.

Went to the sisterhood event tonight and they said that over 400 girls have signed up for interviews and they said that they are only taking between 150-200. I am so nervous.

They obviously don't have room for 400 girls. And I'm sure some of those 400 didn't make grades or won't even show up for their interview.

It's competitive like formal rush. If you don't get in you can always try for informal.

That's what happens when a bunch of girls drop "lower" houses in recruitment in hopes of getting a house and being in a better tier.

I went to a couple of their events and some of the girls are really under the impression that they will get to live in the house.
