This seems to be happening a lot at other schools as well. Fraternities are Illinois, Rutgers, Maryland, Vanderbilt, Florida, Purdue, USC are experiencing the same thing with their chapters. Conducting membership reviews and getting rid of the "DEADBEATS" within the chapter(s) are what many National Offices are doing, instead of closing a chapter down. It's like giving a chapter(s) a second chance to re-structure themselves better. If this doesn't work, then the chapter(s) will be closed. But at least this shows the school that the IHQ are taking aggressive approaches to help the chapter(s) before actually shutting it down.
